When your kids are finishing their meal, you might want to try and sneak in some dishes and have your kids bring in their plates when they are done. You can make sure that you have a hearty dinner ready in no time at all and you also have minimal prep too. You can try and make double batches of meals if you want and this means you can have a freezer stash ready for even the busiest of days. If you have a partner at home then you can ask them to take turns with you when it comes to meal planning. This means the family is always getting great meals but at the same time, you can take advantage of having more time on your hands. If you can keep things like this in mind then it will help you out a lot going forward.
