As Goldie rounds out her third month on the outside, I can’t help but tear up thinking about that pregnancy belly and how excitedly we awaited her arrival this summer. The second pregnancy really did fly, despite it being a more difficult one than the first. And while there’s nothing I love more than having both of my girls in my arms, I think most moms can relate to missing the baby bump…just a little.
I thought I would share some of our beautiful maternity pictures by local New Jersey photographer Lisa Rayman Goldfarb and featuring a handmade lace dress from Etsy shop Design by C Boutique.
I’d seen a lot of ethereal maternity gowns around, but really didn’t feel comfortable with anything “split” in the front or highly sheer. What I love about this shop is that everything is customizable and the pieces can be worn for not only maternity photo shoots but wedding guest apparel and even long after the bump is gone. I felt really pretty in my blush lace dress and I’m so glad I ordered it from a handmade shop.
Here are some of my favorites from the shoot —
