My natural-look wedding makeup

We spoke last week about my obsession with makeup, so it might surprise you that for my wedding I opted for a somewhat natural look. Granted, we’re talking natural with the aid of major lash extensions, a perfectly matched foundation and bronzer combo, three layers of subtle eye shading, liner, and a nude lipstick from Tom Ford.

But I swear, I did not look “made up” on the big day. I love a bold makeup look on a bride, but for our beach nuptials, I wanted something more muted. For fun, I had them do a less dramatic eye than mine on the bridesmaids, but amp things up with a bold lip. Wow, did they look gorg!

All photos are courtesy of Elisabeth Millay. And hugs for Rachel at R J West in Huntington NY, who captured my vision and made it a reality. I am super-picky when it comes to makeup, and I was thrilled to find someone who gets it. Book her for your wedding! Seriously, you will be thrilled (and so will your spouse-to-be!).
